As a graphic recorder, it is always an honour to witness a group's journey. There is a particular sensing that happens as I sit with people and my mind comes alive as I connect individual ideas to reflect collective patterns or movement and use symbols that speak to a sense of remembrance of time spent well together.
These graphic recordings emerged through spending time with a group of Indigenous youth researchers from Kinship Rising, a project organized by the University of Victoria. This group of Indigenous youth was focused on sharing their insights and wisdom from their experiences of being in care and aptly named their project INVINCIBLE. It was an honour to reflect back to them the journey I was witnessing as they created their project.

"I have never experienced a course like this in my entire history of being a public servant. The content had a lot of information and yet still reached my heart. There was a beautiful balance to the course and it was a holistic experience."

"Jaime, on behalf of the branch, I want to express my deep gratitude to you for being our guide in our sharing circles. Like any wise and experienced guide you gathered us at base camp, made sure we had the provisions and clothing for the ascent and then led us along a path filled with curious and wonderful sights stopping to reflect along the way. Your kind and gentle approach worked for all levels of experience and our spirits are better for the journey."
